Michael Kiwanuka is very pleased to announce details of seven new headline shows in the UK for the Autumn.
The British artist takes his critically acclaimed, number one selling, Mercury Prize, and BRIT Awards nominated second album ‘Love & Hate’ out on the road this October for seven new shows. This new stretch of dates follows his already sold-out tour earlier this month which included a night at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Recent winner of the prestigious, Ivor Novello award (arguably considered by artists to be ‘the award’ of all awards) for best single musically and lyrically for ‘Black Man in a White World’ and a May sold out tour behind him, this year has already proved to be an exciting one for this hugely talented UK artist.
The hauntingly beautiful single ‘Cold Little Heart’ was also the feature track on the opening credits for HBO’s smash TV series ‘Big Little Lies’ which saw gig ‘Shazam’ gains for the artist.
The new Autumn run kicks off in Birmingham at The Symphony Hall on the 16th October, and concludes at the Brighton Dome on the 24th October. Michael will also play Salford, Perth, York, Liverpool, and a return to Exeter, a city he first visited last Oct and loved the city.
