Plymouth Pavilions is the South West’s premier entertainment, and conference centre attracting over 370,000 visitors each year to its Arena an Ice Rink. Based with in Plymouth Pavilions, The Ticket Store provides an independent online and telesales ticketing service to Plymouth Pavilions, and a growing portfolio of clients.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Duty Ticketing Manager to join our busy team.
We are a 7 day a week business, so this position will be recruited to an Annualised Hours Contract of 1,248 hours across the year, so flexibility in your availability to work is essential, to cover normal office hours, as well as performances during evenings and weekends, including Bank Holidays.
Reporting to the Ticketing Operations Manager, using our CRM and our Ticketing System; you will assume operational responsibility for the day to day running of The Ticket Store, which will include working show nights and rostering, as well as the supervision, training and motivation of our casual team of Ticketing Agents.
The Ticket Store prides itself on delivering the highest possible service to our customers and clients. You will liaise with internal departments, promoters, clients and ticketing agencies to ensure that all performances and events are scheduled and managed right through to the performance.
As one of the department’s three ‘key holders’ you will be responsible for cash handling, banking, the issuing of tickets, audit trails and reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with all company financial, security, and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) policies and procedures.
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent level of both IT and leadership skills; be able to multi-task and make decisions, often working to tight deadlines, whilst always demonstrating a high attention to detail.
Under the guidance of the Ticketing Operations Manager, you will be joining an experienced team who will support you in your development and training in this role.
